Costa Rica or Malaysia aren't tripartite nations though. Tripartite nation status is calculated based on the number of athletes from the past two Olympics (team sports notwithstanding). Farah Abdul can qualify if no tripartite is awarded and someone drops out (South Africa?). Cayman Islands is an option, but she isn't that good based on her results from the Youth Olympics and Pan American Games.

If South Africa drops out though then the quota will go to the next best African nation (Egypt).

:PAN got a wildcard in the women's events

Is that confirmed/official? Because if so, it would mark their debut in gymnastics :)

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!
