Given the huge success of the Olympics, the Rho facility, which was supposed to be temporary, could remain in place permanently. That would be fantastic news.

Which one is that, the speed skating facility?

I hope this wouldn't become an excuse not to renovate/rebuild the Agorà

knowing our mayor Sala(h), I wouldn't be surprised if this is his strategy

probably both, as they're just 2 halls next to each other in an exhibition complex (which is very large, with many other pavillions even bigger than those 2)

1.3 million tickets sold or 88% of the available tickets with only one sport 100% sold out which is.. ski mountaineering :p

Sure, it didn't have the most tickets to sell, but any good publicity is welcome for the sport's future olympic status. Unfortunately, we don't have a full breakdown by sport. I imagine ice hockey have sold the most, following by biathlon perhaps ?

surely also snowboard and freestyle

a few days ago I read a report and they were saying that Milan had their events filled at 94% of capacity and Livigno at 90%

I think Alpine Skiing was the least successful campaign, especially in Cortina

actually, the article has a partial breakdown by sport

I'm surprised they say alpine skiing has 91% of tickets sold, because in Cortina I saw quite a good number of empty seats in the stands (but maybe it was just a shot in a moment where they were not yet sit or just already gone 🤔)

It's weird to talk about attendance in %. Whats better 97% of a smaller stands or 90% of a bigger one? :mumble:

if it's about your gain, better 50% of San Siro stadium than 100% of the Bormio ski stadium, but if it's about how it looks, if it's about "perception", always better a full arena (big or small doesn't really matter, that's why they use the filled seats percentage to measure the impact)
