I dont know how did they defeat Germany :mumble:

They who won on penalties after their best effort so far in this tournament, which resulted in a very close and undecided match until the very end of the game, also Germany is not showing anything really special here so far if you ask me, they have Draisaitl, who is a absolutely fantastic player and clearly doing everything possible and impossible to help his team, but the rest looked for me from the games I saw pretty tired and helpless

btw some interesting stats so far, we look really well in penalty killing and discipline of players, it´s clearly worse in the offensive play :(

Shooting efficiency (Belarus needed 109 shoots for 4 goals lol) https://www.new-iihf.com/en/events/2018/wm/teamstats/scoringefficiency

Power-play (very very bad) https://www.new-iihf.com/en/events/2018/wm/teamstats/powerplay#statistics

Penalty Killing (Very very good, we are one of the 3 teams that did not conceded any goal being shorthanded ) https://www.new-iihf.com/en/events/2018/wm/teamstats/penaltykilling#statistics

Penalties (excellent discipline, so far) https://www.new-iihf.com/en/events/2018/wm/teamstats/penalties#statistics

Incredible, the Koreans are barely skating or even moving...One really start to think how they did win the Division I last year ? In all honesty they absolutely don´t have the required level, and I am persuaded that the kinds of Hungary, Kazakhstan or Poland were and are much better than Korea, so it´s still for me a mystery how they did win it

Do they still have the Canadians they used for the Olympics? :p

    • Surely they will unless I am missing something.
    • So, will they appeal to CAS like in Sinner case?

One month for a banned substance is very low even for accidental consumption. I’ve only ever heard that short for something banned only in Competition and therefore not seen as fully doping. .
    • big big news regarding Olympic bronze medalist and two time World Champion  Zurabi Datunashvili   https://ita.sport/news/the-ita-acknowledges-cas-add-decision-sanctioning-wrestler-zurabi-datunashvili-for-anti-doping-rule-violations/   to be honest everything was suspicious about this guy, his sudden improvement since 2021, his body, his sudden retirement in 2023 . its great to see him finally getting caught.   they will reallocate the medals later after the end of the process but his Olympic bronze will go to  Ivan Huklek, I think that will be the first ever wrestling medal for Croatia   his 2021 World title will go  Maskevich and the 2022 gold goes to  Bisultanov Bisultanov will benefit more than anybody else, he also gets a bronze from 2021 and  Kessidis will get a bronze from 2022.
