It's important for both team and individual competitions. Winner will get 0 penalties while penalties for the others will be their time deficit divided by 2 (so 8 seconds behind Ehning provisionally gives you 4 penalties for example).

That's not good. It means Germany starts with at least roughly 8 penalty points. Weishaupt definitely needs a good round, now.
