Red Sox hit two Grand Slams in consecutive innings to even the ALCS at 1-1. Meanwhile Braves win 3-2 in the first NLCS game helped by Chris Taylor base-running error in the top of the 9th.

Well, Red Sox couldn't do anything outside of those Grand Slams. Astros outscored them 22-1 in the last 20 innings IIRC. Dodgers' rotation was also mismanaged, Max Scherzer save left him with a dead arm, they won a bullpen game but lost a Walker Buehler start and World Series will be Astros vs Braves.

Game 1 of the world series ends with a convincing 6-2 win by the Braves. Unfortunately for them, their starting pitcher, Charlie Morton, got injured and will be out for the series.

Astros jumped on Max Fried early in Game 2. 5-1 after three innings with even Maldonado getting 2 RBI after nobody covered third base.

And that was about the last time the Astros bats were productive. Two games later it's 3-1 Braves!

Braves hit a Grand Slam in the 1st inning but still lose 5-9 in Game 5. The series heads back to Houston!

Atlanta Braves beat Houston Astros 7-0 in Game 6 and win the World Series 2021!

26 years in the making for braves, not really surprising those teams who end a very long drought for WS these days

Congrats to the Braves! An incredible story considering they barely made it into the playoffs with only 88 wins.

 

Thank goodness the astros didn't win. Still haven't won a championship without cheating yet. Guess it's hard to win when you don't know what pitch is coming
