Has anyone seen any difference? Why don't they just name both as today's winners?

Kittel is the clear winner :d

Castroviejo, you have won the Tour de France. Forever :p

Stef Clement about this moment: "During a cycling race like the Tour, we actually see a ton of men's asses at the side of the road. So you're an adult man, standing at the side of the road for hours, looking at nothing....and when the peloton arrives and there's the 10 seconds in which you can actually see something, you turn around, drop your pants and show your ass...dude." :d

Apparently trying to hit those asses with a water bottle or, even better, with some sticky lemonade-like drink in the bottle, is like a goal for cyclists :p

By the way, another 170km or so in the lead of the peloton for Julien Vermote today, who yesterday already said he has been leading the peloton for around 700km so far this Tour. Incredible work by the 'engines' of the sprint teams, like Vermote for Kittel and Thomas De Gendt for Greipel, to name only two examples

Can someone find the helicopter images from today's last 600-700m? It's quite fun to see how horribly Sabatini was doing his work for Kittel: he got in the lead with 600m to go, and already 150m later he was finished and meanwhile Reinardt Janse van Rensburg powered past Sabatini/Kittel with EBH in his wheel :d

Janse van Rensburg might easily be named the "Man of the Last Kilometer" today.

Dylan Groenewegen had the highest speed in the sprint yesterday, this graph shows how good he actually is....his positioning sucks and he has no serious 'train' whatsoever which meant he was way behind with 500m to go, but in the last 700m he had a consideribly higher speed than Kittel and EBH at every moment, including an average of over 70km/h in the last 500m :yikes:  (which showed after the finish, when he was absolutely gasping for air like never before)

If he'd ride for a good team and his positioning would get better, he would be quite hard to beat.

Logical that the viewing numbers go down, but damn, that's one pathetic decision by the national TV company if true
