Just to update: I've certainly listened to everything more than once, just need to find a moment to rank them, but that should be fine -
Don't count on anything too amazing, since there won't be one single opening ceremony, but 4-5 that TV will kind of combine into one thing There's not going to be a singular event where all/most athletes of a nation are going to be presented in some way. Everyone stays on their own 'island', these are kind of the Olympics of disconnection.

Hmm, it's been updated by now: 4 men, 3 women in terms of cross-country skiing, unfortunately. I wonder how it works with multiple athletes from one NOC gaining a quota spot in that top-10 in the World Cup route. I mean, that route is only open to nations who have 0 quota places, surely it would be rather weird if that way an NOC can get multiple? Theoretically that would mean that it would have been better for an NOC to make sure they have no quota yet (if their only option at the time was 1), so they could get 2 now. Edit: my bad, 1 man, 3 women. The other 3 men are support personnel. Wish it was the other way around

A disastrous season for Italy. It will be difficult to win anything, and worse still, it won't get any better at the Olympics. Unfortunately, Goggia hasn't been herself for four years and can't make the difference Vonn did today. A disastrous season is ahead for us. -

not so out of nowhere... she's a 6 time world junior champion that struggled to make the transition to the senior ranks because she wanted to be a 4-discipline skier, but her body couldn't sustain that now she decided to specialize in speed events and she's starting to show all of her well known talent quite a few analysts had her name among the possible newcomers of the year (and she's still 24, which is quite a young age in the speed disciplines)
