A little over 10k to go in the Vuelta and with that, the top level cycling season. This whole last week has been a bit of an....anticlimax, after a fantastic start the Vuelta has slowly fizzled out with not much interesting going on except for basically the last 15 minutes yesterday.

 

That was to be expected, considering the choices made by the organizers in terms of the route, hopefully next year they won't decide for a mostly empty last week again.

Ackermann wins it and denies Quick-Step their 6974th chance for the 100th GT stage win  

 

 

Excellent sprint between by far the two best sprinters in this field.
