does bandy exist in Canada? I thought some failed ice hockey players could turn to it and at least make a team for world championships

Team Canada (men) played at the world championships 16 times in 1991-2019 (not every tournament). Usually it was one of the favourite teams in Division B. It was based in Winnipeg. I don't know what is with it now. I think it's the money problem. Women played 7 times in 2006-2016 and they were very close to the bronze medals many times.

They could to the opposite as the Swedish bandy players did when they participated in ice hockey at olympics 1924 without hockey experience because noone played ice hockey in sweden back then

Without surprises in the medal games but Finland in the men's final rivalled good vs Sweden.
