Phumlile Ndzinisa :SWZ ran 11.35 2 days ago in the Women's 200m, she needs 11.32 to qualify.

:MHL and :SOL are potentially in line for a Weightlifting reallocation if they are overlooked for a Wild Card.

I believe :ASA:BUR:GAM:KOS:MAD:NRU:PAK:PLW have all qualified for Rio 2016 in Judo.

:GUI could be in line for the reallocation of :RSA continental quota but I am not sure.

Heartbreaker for Madagascar as their steeplechaser ran a 9:45.28 in France

And probably the worst part is that she can't receive wild card in 3000m steeplechase (thanks to stupid IAAF rules). If she doesn't make it she will probably compete in 1500m like in 2012, what is annoying because 3000m steeplechase is obviously her best event.

Yes, we can officially remove them now, as IJF published the final rankings.

This the highest number of nations to be removed in one moment.

Update (Remove)

:ASA Men's -73kg (Judo)

:BUR Men's +100kg (Judo)

:GAM Men's -73kg (Judo)

:KOS Women's -52kg, Women's -57kg (Judo)

:MAD Women's -48kg (Judo)

:NRU Men's -90kg (Judo)

:PAK Men's -100kg (Judo)

:PLW Women's -63kg (Judo)

While that is a large chunk removed it looks like we will not get lower than 2012's number of nations which failed to qualify without a wild card (27). We are currently at 32 with only Bangladesh in golf having a very good chance at being removed. Something special would have to happen in athletics between now and July for there to be any chance.

Probably the best bet outside of Bangadesh is Swazi runner Ndzinisa who clocked 11.35 over 100m last weekend.

Also, Macedonia might have a chance in men's open water swimming. Though, their swimmer seems to be better at even longer distances, but some lucky continental quota might be in cards.
