Neutral athletes maybe.

Russia have made many mistakes in how they have dealt with this in the last month,

I think now it's either neutral athletes or a ban on Russia.

:JOR did not finish first race.

:PAR finished 31 seconds back of winner :( She is a good skier, so I hope she can turn it around

:TJK skiers started qualifications, and their FIS points are above 300... unlikely to compete in PyeongChang

One Tajikistani got a 236 so possible.

Also Afghans :AFG are back, but no result better than 330. Doubt it’ll happen this time.

Update on :PAR

Julia Marino tore her labrum, which explains her result in her first race. :(

:( How long will it last?

She needs surgery but won't do it now as that would any Olympic hopes.

:DOM skier had a race in the masters category and he was under the 140 FIS points needed to qualify. I wonder if this applies to Olympic qualification?

I hope that with Gismondi will be different, especially since she was already a great talent in her junior years. The problem in Italy is that for the past 15 years, aside from Pellegrino, there has been a miss of stability in other athletes: there are some booms of excellent form, but later they disappear. I also worry that funding for cross-country skiing will be cut after the Cortina Olympics.
