what a match from the team Nepal nearly won against in last match & now to defeat them in such convincing fashion is surely the first big upset of the tournament. I know the team is mostly made up of foreigners of italian origin or foreign residents/citizens but they proudly sang the national anthem & are proud to represent Italia in world cricket! Well done ITALY! -

Poor decision from IOC to DQ the racer. His gesture was not political but in remembrance for his friends whom he has lost ! How is that political and against olympic charter?? I am sure CAS will overturn this decision . Shameful how rotten the top leadership of such important international sports organization has become. If anything I feel it is IOC who is making a politically motivated decision here! -
The IOC banned Oleh Handays helmet for the text from the poem: “I have a quote from Lina Kostenko written on my helmet: ‘Where there is heroism, there is no final defeat.’ -

Well, not the medal that him or I was hoping for probably, but nonetheless I'm super proud of the this guy for winning back-to-back Olympic silver medals Grondin is still only 24 years old, I'm sure he'll get more opportunities in the future, just hope he can sustain his level until then

Personally I hope fails to make the final so Hockey Canada is forced to have a reckoning. The women’s program has been failing upwards for a long time and I think it has finally caught up to us in a way that is impossible to overcome with some good performances from individual players. -
I'm sorry to hear that. First of all, there is no place for politics at the Olympics. Second, the way IOC handled this case, was wrong.
