Prediction Contest

Rules: The game is simple. Every day, I'll post a few questions in the opening post of each thread and if you're playing, you post your answers to the questions below. Whoever gets the most questions right at the end of the Olympics wins. You can change your answers as many times as you like as long as the first event hasn't begun and you can join anytime.

1. Freestyle Skiing: Will a Canadian win a medal in women's slopestyle?

2. Luge: Will there be a Canadian in the top 12 after the first two runs?

3. Speed Skating: Give a time prediction for Beatrice Lamarche in the 1000m to the nearest second. (E.g. 1:10, 1:11) (You can view her latest results here. For this question, we will round her final time to the nearest second and anyone who's correct will receive points).

We did have some hockey news yesterday.

To no one's surprise, Sidney Crosby has been named captain of the men's team. Connor McDavid and Cale Makar are the alternates.

Here were the lines at the first practice:

Celebrini - McDavid - Wilson

Marchand - MacKinnon - Suzuki

Stone - Crosby - Marner

Hagel - Horvat - Reinhart

Bennett - Jarvis

and the d-pairings:

Toews - Makar

Morrissey - Parayko

Theodore - Sanheim

Harley - Doughty

Power-Play 1:

Makar - McDavid - MacKinnon - Reinhart - Crosby

Power-Play 2:

Theodore - Celebrini - Marner - Horvat - Stone
