ISU had clarified it earlier that there will no appeals allowed and the decision is final. So yeah Adelia Petrosian will fight it out for the gold next year.

ISU stated that no appeals allowed - yes - but no appeals allowed from russians.

And in any case the result of this torunament does not mean that Petrosian will get her Olympic ticket right now.

The IOC established special board which will decide if russian athletes who "got quotas" are eligible for the Olympics. The system is the same as the one for Paris-2024. And we remember how many athletes illegally allowed by the IFs were later thrown away by the IOC.

(I do not say that Petrosian will be stripped of the quota for certain, but to remind that all russian quotas are provisional and the "next in the row" athletes must be ready for the action too)

So for Pairs

:CHN:ARM:JPN got the quotas

:FRA missed the spot last moment. :UKR is 5th with a strong performance but even with the flip it would not be enough due to the components.

I’ve heard that the :UZB pair that won the quota at Worlds are no longer together, which would mean :FRA gets a reallocated quota.

At least from my interpretation

Wow. It is really interesting!

In this case as far as I understand :UZB may enter another pair if it has technical mimium. But I do not know if they have such a pair. And it is not clear if Chigirev has :UZB citizenship at all.

And also infamous Dutch NOC requierements which can cause a rejected quota for Netherlands since their pair was only 15th at the WCh

I still think that countries that already have a quota in a event should not be allowed to earn more here.
