Team USA - LA28 Road to LA 2028

I've always been a fan of the Olympics, but it was only right before Paris that I started being turned on to the qualifications process.  (I caught the OQS for Sport Climbing.)  I'm looking forward to seeing who qualifies for LA28 and how.  Obviously we don't have to worry about quota positions because of the host nation spots, and I wonder if that will affect who attends other competitions in the off season.  I also realize that since we always have a large delegation, it is hard to keep track of all of our athletes!  (There's something to be said about being a smaller nation with fewer athletes, as it's possible to more closely follow each one!)  But I am looking forward to diving into new sports, seeing who our stellar athletes are, and seeing how they perform leading up to and into the games at LA28.

Question to anyone who sees this...I'm seeing this thread show up under 'Latest Replies' along with all the other normal (non-club) forum threads, but do others also see it there?  I've never seen another club's posts in the 'Latest Replies' list on the main page (just in the righthand column with the other club tings).  Just wanting to see what others saw.

Only users who are part of the club see the threads in the "Latest replies" box

I think one of the best ways to keep on track of American athletes is to look at their performances in world championships in Olympic sports as well as their world rankings in comparison to the rest of the world before the 2028 Olympics. This will be a nice way of analyzing the amount of medals that we (Team USA) can win come LA 2028.
