Currently no Indonesian speed climbers showing up on the Registration page...maybe they're still populating that list?  Or does anyone know why they might not be going?

With almost a month to go, I would assume they simply haven't registered yet, but there should still be time and I'd certainly expect them to be there. Unless @Griff88 has read anything else in Indonesian media

Also worth noting that Brooke Raboutou isn't currently on the list with her American compatriots.  I know she was taking some time off, and perhaps she decided to let this one go.  (No shame in that.)

 

But Janja is there.

And, Indonesia has competitors in Lead/Boulder registered.  Perhaps didn't want to do World Games + IFSC WCH?

I think it's the case.. the federation is silent since Asian Youth Championships

Some big names didn't make it through...Toby Roberts, Yannick Flohé, Sascha Lehmann, Max Bertone, another one of USA's up-and-comers Jesse Grupper

Boulder qualis today...

 

Probably the biggest upset was Sohta Amagasa from  not making it through on the men's side.  There are a few athletes towards the top of the roster that I'm not super familiar with.  Happy that two men from  made it through (Colin Duffy and Ben Hanna).  Toby Roberts  did make these finals.   I know he'll be happy.

 

Two American women also made it through, Annie Sanders of course, and Melina Costanza, whom I've never seen climb, I don't think.

 

W speed qualis/finals tomorrow!
