Totally surprising result from the only Mexican competitor in the event.

 

She truly deserves this medal, she has been working so hard since the past Olympic cycle, so this is just a reqard for her dedication and talent.

meanwhile, in the men's Trap it's all in the hands of :CRO Josip Glasnovic, who has yet to shoot his last round and only needs a modest 23/25 to secure himself a place in the final

 

if he does it, we have the 6 finalists:

:USA William Hinton, 123/125

:FRA Antonin Desert, 122/125

:ESP Andres Garcia, 122/125

:IND Zoravar Singh Sandhu, 122/125

and :CRO Josip Glasnovic, of course

 

if he misses out, there will be a shoot-off for the last place in the top 6 between :ITA Massimo Fabbrizi, :AUS Thomas derek Grice, :GBR Aaron Heading, :CZE Jiri Liptak, :CZE Jan Palacky (and the same :CRO Josip Glasnovic, in case), who are all stuck at 121/125 targets
