It's a shame there aren't separate medals for the Elimination race at the Olympics. It's much more transparent than Madison, where it's chaotic.

He ended his career like Tomba in 1998.

Viviani's greatest cycling moment was winning gold in the Omnium in Rio 2016. In that year he defeat Cavendish for the gold medal.

Lavreysen is more muscular than his rivals, in my opinion. Secondly, I'm curious if Lavreysen, with his physique, could win a flat road race?

Point race and elimination race should be in olympic program for me. Great events. And here two beautiful moments gold for Italy (Perfect end of career for Viviani) and Mexico. And after that huge achievement for Netherland in men's sprint. This guy is phenomenal. Interesting World Champs.
