I’d take a wipeout over this honestly, embarrassing performance from the Canadians to be so far behind. Too many mistakes during the race despite Dandjinou’s best efforts to catch up

 

Edit: to be clear if you asked me in a week I probably wouldn’t find this disappointing, just really wanted the gold. Especially with Korea and Netherlands out of the final, but whatever.

Good for  to get the bronze. Getting their first medal of the games. Another country added to the medal table

It's really not that shocking. Italy was Canada's biggest threat here with a healthy Fontana on the team in their own country. Canada didn't really challenge in that final, but if they did it could have caused a crash or DQ. Get one medal under your belt and move forward.

Eh, to be clear like I said, after a few days or a week I’ll probably get over it because this was a Rea opportunity. The Italian user on the other hand has unrealistic expectations on their athletes, and even with a bunch of medals still complains.
