Don't know anything about water polo, but have never heard of Japan being any good at it, so this is all good.

It's 2nd in group vs 3rd in the play-off before facing group winners in QF, so coming second helped us there

Interestingly, :GBR competed against :JPN in the semi-finals of the World Cup Division 2 competition at the end of last year. On that occasion, :JPN edged out a 12-15 victory.
