Why? In the qualification system it said that you can achieve 2 quota places with 1 athlete, but you need to confirm your quota place in the Beijing. After WCh you can have 2 quotas and if you can't confirm then 1 quota will be reallocated at the Qualifier

Wikipedia page is updated so it’s says what @NearPupsaid. With only one skater (at the world championship) in top 10 you can enter 1 more skater in qualifying competition in september.

So  will have both Hendricks and Pinzarrone at the Olympics only if Pinzarrone will finish in top 10 and after that Hendricks will qualify via Beijing qualifying competition.

Also the margin by which will secure it's third spot (I mean, they would have gotten it anyway through the last chance competition, but I'm sure they will be glad to secure it here)
