I think the 2025 Africa Cup will be counted in the Olympic ranking because it was played on December 5-7, while ther Americup was played on November 27-30 so it should not be counted, right?

 

The ranking cut-off is 1 December 2027 and the events of the last 2 years are counted, so I think the Americup 2025 will be cut.

Yes, the Africa Cup is counted, but I mean the Americup will be removed before the end of the qualification period (1 December 2027). Because the event finished before 1 December 2025.

This Friday 13th will start the Basketball 3x3 season, kicking off with the 3x3 Champions Cup 2026, an eight team tournament with all the champions of the continental and world cups of 2025.

 

The importance of this event is that the winners in each gender will qualify for the Champions Cup 2027, the World Cup 2027, and more important, the OQT in 2028.

 

Men's Teams: :ESP :LTU :AUS :MAD :USA :SRB :NED :THA

Women's Teams: :NED :AZE :AUS :MAD :USA :CAN :ESP :THA

      I see this qualification system so unfair. Not proportional for continental distrubition (3 teams from America - 2 for host). Just one european nation - Netherlands in next qualifying tournament - so who will be higher Netherlands our Austrialia will take this place. Shameful.
