Well this year just continues to be disappointment after disappointment for me. Between seeing the U.S have success in international sports plus how leagues like the NHL, MLB, and NFL have gone the last few years, I'm just numb to seeing the villains win at this point.

because it doesn't make sense that a team with an athlete who just took up the sport six months ago dominated the worlds very best like that haha

No, the two best countries ( :FRA :ESP ) sat it out. But I do think this demonstrates that SkiMo isn't very deep at the moment.

:ITA didn’t have their top male, and :SUI their top female competing as well.

So now without the ski mountaineering quotas, there's a small chance that we could end up falling below the 200 athlete mark

    • Honestly, it’s not very clear what is happening in Italy — anything could happen.
