Damn it, besides 1 Russian also :MKD, :MDA and :BIH are very likely to get a women's quota tomorrow or Sunday...nice for them, very unfortunate for us.

So Skistad planned for another yellow card to be disqualified and start of with a clean sheet at the World cup, instead she got a red card. A disquslification but she keeps the yellow one:roflmao:

And would you believe this timebomb detonated today?  :roflmao:

She picked up another yellow card for obstruction in Davos - 2 yellows equal one :redcard: so she is DQF in Davos.

Plus there's a :BLR athlete who didn't compete today, but will compete tomorrow....

I know Maciej Staręga is 35yo but losing to :HAI:THA and  :ARM in cross-country is...

Says more about Savart being an excellent skier, to be honest.

Unless I'm massively mistaken, Brazil needs 16 women's quota places being refused by other countries in order to get a 3rd ticket. Yeah, that ain't gonna happen :p

That does unfortunately already include the 3 quota places that will most likely be automatically refused due to Taiwan, Andorra and Armenia having 2 spots but only 1 eligible athlete. So 16 refusals besides those 3.

Somewhat annoying Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Bosnia and Macedonia sneaked in last minute (as a sports lover, I like it of course, but yeah), but even without some of those it would still have been a stretch I think.

We need boycotts

I would say we have some chace that Nepyaeva will not be invited by the IOC.
But, FIS has time to issue AIN status to someone else.

Did Belarus get the quota? I do not see AIN`s at the FIS qualification table

The FIS qualification table is quite slow to be updated, also after Israel's man qualified it took a little bit of time. She certainly got it without problems, so they should be added soon.

If those last 10 places wont be used then it will be reallocated somehow?

FIS has already published what happens here: https://www.fis-ski.com/DB/v2/quota/list/owg/cc/2026 They basically continued giving quotas from where they stopped back in March. So in Men's it was :CAN then :NOR then :SWE , in women's it was :UKR , :JPN:LAT:CHN
