And it's not only that. Jeanne Richard allegedly deliberately tampered with Oceane Michelon's rifle before one of the races in Pokljuka. The French team is deep in drama.

Preseason weekend is here!  Races from Idre Fjall, :SWE and Geilo :NOR.  First up, :SWE

 

Good news and bad news.  First of all, it's on Eurovisionsport!

Bad news is that they are struggling for weather, so it is just scabby last-year snow, a narrow ribbon, and some changed races. Featuring :SWE:GER:UKR

:NOR races from Gielo will be on nrk.no - remember, Norwegian TV has two opening points, one of which is works Internationally and the other is Domestic.   This is usually the International one.  Timing seems to be they don't overlap too much.

British Athletics sometimes use the excuse that having athletes on the teams with no realistic prospect of medals dilutes coaching resources better used elsewhere.   Counter-argument is that using all place rewards athletes for a lifetime's dedication.

According to our media they just will not take the athlete to the Italy but since the distance from Germany is really short the athlete will come if necessary.

      I think they incorrectly translated Ukrainian word "nahorody" - it is not a full synonym of "medal". Its cocrrect translation is "award". Meanwhile russian tennis playes switched for Potapova ->  Rakhimova ->

      Ukrainian diver Lyskun switches allegiance to Russia, loses all medals | Olympics News | Al Jazeera   'loses all medals'   I would assume Al Jazeera could have been a bit clearer and mention this would presumably only be national medals. I mean, it's not like the Ukrainian federation, or any single federation for that matter, has the power to strip her of her world and European championships medals I hope (not for her sake, but because that would be a super weird precedent)

      Confirmation about the broadcasting rights.   If I'm reading it right, for most of Europe it will now be exclusive to Discovery/Eurosport or whatever brand they use.     For outside Europe, it's on YouTube.       Surely. Her first coach now works in russia (and grandma lives in russia according to Sereda). They were in contact and despite of full funding from  the girl decided to become the star of russian propaganda.  As I saw in X: "It took the Russians four years of war to find a relatively well-known sports personality to carry out such a propaganda operation."
