I'm happy with this bronze medal. I don't think even the most optimistic fan had any more faith in this team after the last few years. The Brazilian pressure in this sport is insane.

 

But this younger team has shown its capabilities, and I think we can have some good surprises with them in the coming years.

Ok yeah I said that, but looking at the stats now I take that back. Could’ve swore he scored more than 7, but that’s probably his fourth set showing playing into my mind 

 

Thought Arthur would’ve been in double digits too.

Did Italy field Lavia as OPP in the second set?

Considering Japan is without key players and Brazil is undergoing a roster change, it's understandable that Poland easily defeated them.

But Italy, with the full squad of reigning world champions, performing like this is somewhat disappointing.
