And it's 3:1 victory for Ukraine and somehow we are still in the mix for playoff on our debut season :bye:

And you'll still face the two worst teams in the VNL in the final week. Assuming you beat both teams 3-0 or 3-1, that should be enough for Ukraine to secure a place in the play-offs.

  • 3 weeks later...

If Plotnyski returns Ukraine will be a strong opponent for anyone. I haven't been happy with Italy's performance since last year – we didn't win a single medal last year. If it's similar this year, it means de Giorgi should leave. But we'll see, maybe peak of the form will be for the Nations League finals and World Championship. So far we looks very weak, although our squad is the best it can be+ Rychlicki joined this year.

We already have Rychlicki, so it would take too long :P

I think Plotnyski will return once he sees that Ukraine has great potential and he's too good to pass up. Maradona also caused a lot of trouble, but he always came back, because it was beneficial for both sides. It's similar here. Yanchuk and Plotnyski will be a huge force on the wings. Is there a possibility that he will return to the World Champ?

maybe he'll get the Italian passport to play as an Italian (EU) player in the club competitions, but I doubt he'll ever play for our NT

I mean, it's not like the Ukrainian federation, or any single federation for that matter, has the power to strip her of her world and European championships medals I hope (not for her sake, but because that would be a super weird precedent)
