It wasn't even a couple it was more! All of the following were medal favourites:

 

-Warner and LePage

-Mitton

-Men's basketball

-Mo Ahmed in the 5000 

-Shady El Nahas and CBP

You’re right about the rest of them, but in women’s 3x3 basketball the gap between the top teams is tight. It’s disappointing how poorly they played for the most part, and that they couldn’t win a medal, but the result itself wasn’t disappointing (well it was a 4th… but still)
