Tamara Thibault lost a very close fight to  Ngamba.

 

It was a really close bout that could have gone either way.

I have no level of understanding of this sport but its so unfortunate that she drew Ngamba in the first round.

I would not be surprised if Ngamba ends up winning this tournament. She’s been fancied as an up and comer.

A French paper is keeping track of "almost medals". Canada has some work to do, but is fighting for 4th in getting 4ths. Poor Italy.

It's simple. The people who run the sport decide who they want to win and then they do everything possible to make that happen.

I will not miss boxing if it's removed from the programme in 2028
