so we also have the Olympic ranking quota? so 2 quotas for the 50m?

Yes, each NOC can only win a maximum of 1 quota per qualifying event. But you'd still get quota through rankings as it stands as both your athletes still in are the next best non qualified from the rankings. Although there is still a world cup event so things may still change.

World cups in Munich and Lonato are also qualifying events? Or you mentioned that because they are also counted into the Olympic qualification ranking? It should close on June 9th so Lonato does not count anymore but Munich does.

Only Munich, which is cringe, because it will be right after ECh and athletes need to switch locations really quickly

It's quite a bad look to have a World Cup event for the Shotgunners right after the quali period ends, they could've at least extended it till after the Lotano event. If I was a Shotgunner who's narrowly missed out on a quota through the rankings I'd certainly feel aggrieved.

    • Honestly, I think you guys have a much better chance of success here than we do. It's already difficult to maintain this sport, and with this ridiculous format this year, things have gotten even worse. Years and years participating in the elite and we haven't been able to evolve; it was just a waste.
