PV Sindhu will potentially meet He Bing Jao :CHN (H2H 2-2 post 2021 Olympics) in the round of 16 and Chen Yu Fei :CHN (H2H 0-2 post 2021 Olympics) in the quarterfinals. Decent draw. Hoping for the best.

Lakshya Sen in Jonatan Christie's :INA (WR 3) group. Not ideal. Lakshya has lost all of his last 4 matches against Christie in the 3rd set. Let's see.

However, if he gets out of the group, he should potentially meet Prannoy in the round of 16 thereby confirming at least one Indian in quarters.

At a press release from :IND NOC it was confirmed that we will be taking more support staffs & officials than athletes. As per IOC policy 1:3 policy will be maintained for accommodation & accreditation in Olympics village. Rest of the support staffs will be put up in a hotel at nearby competition hall/Olympic village with day pass accreditation. The cost for the same will be borne by our sports ministry.9050D193-EDE1-49C8-A3B2-6C360183C070.jpeg26A548AF-791F-468B-9F32-BEB0804ADE1E.jpeg
