Dodgers fell 3-0 behind in the first inning to Padres but managed to win 7-5 in the first NLDS game.

 

Phillies' bullpen collapsed vs Mets allowing 5 runs and one out in the 8th inning

All four Divisional Series are tied at 1-1 for the first time in MLB history (since 1995 when this format was first introduced).

Padres scored 6 runs in the 2nd inning of NLDS Game 3 and then scored 0 runs in the next 24 innings

 

Dodgers won the series 3-2 to set up NLCS vs Mets.

Cleveland Guardians will face the New York Yankees in the AL Championship series after beating the Detroit Tigers in Game 5.

 

The only thing saving this season from being one of the worst ever (and it still might be)

the New York Yankees are the first team qualified to the 2024 World Series 

 

they won the American League, beating in the ALCS the Cleveland Indians (for the hypocrites, Guardians ) 4 games to 1 (5-2; 6-3; 5-7; 8-6; 5-2)

 

it was an amazing series, meanwhile the NLCS between New York Mets and Los Angeles Dodgers (currently the Dodgers are leading 3 games to 2, game #6 is scheduled for Tonight) still has to offer a decent game to the audience (it's definitely one of the worst CS I've ever watched so far...and I've been watching the MLB since 1988 )
