Canada is now there, as well a few other nations.

Didn’t realize this was only an Olympic qualifier for Europeans, my fault.

    • It's based on the races skated so far this season and I'm not really taking the draw into account.   I think Żurek and De Boo are incredibly close when you look at the season overall and it was hard to pick between those two, but I think Żurek has shown in Inzell and at the European Championships that he is in great form which is why I put him in second.
    • What a day! Seeing Bruna compete and fulfill her Olympic dream...wow, just, wow     We managed to get the large army of Swedes behind us to cheer specifically for her too, so that was awesome! And by some coincidence, we had a few Dutch people behind us     After the qualifying, Duda (the other Brazilian) and her family came up to the grandstand and sat right in front of us. She had a good race and beat Bruna, so congrats to her. Unlike Duda, Bruna had quite a lot of large interviews with media ranging from Brazilian to Dutch so it took a lot longer for her to reach the grandstands, but she was in time to watch the quarters all the way up to the finals. Tears flowed when she reached us as a freshly minted Olympic   I told her Duda was sitting right in front of us (she hadn't noticed), so - sportsmanship being her thing - she of course went immediately up to her to congratulate her. Duda's face turned into the most foul mooded face I have ever seen anyone have immediately and they literally immediately afterwards left     There's an insane amount of action on Bruna's instagram at the moment (lots of interviews and stuff). Maybe some on Duda's as well, but I'm not sure, as - like Bruna - I am blocked by her for whatever reason, so no idea
    • Is your prediction based on pairs announced today or before it?
    • I've been asked if we could have the "happiness meter" for the games again, so here we go!   How do you feel about these games after the first four days have passed already? Satisfied? Disappointed? Share it here!
    • Let's go with a prediction for tomorrow's 1.000m. Stolz is of course the favorite, but behind him I think 3 guys that could beat him.   I put Zurek in second based on his recent form. De Boo has a higher peak level, but will be impacted by being in the same pair as Stolz. Wennemars has a lower peak level than the top 3 in my prediction, but is very consistent and the raining World Champion.    Jordan Stolz Damian Żurek Jenning de Boo  Joep Wennemars  Cooper McLeod  Marten Liiv  Lian Ziwen   Finn Sonnekalb Kjeld Nuis  Conor McDermott-Mostowy Ning Zhongyan Laurent Dubreuil  Piotr Michalski  Taiyo Nonomura  Marek Kania  Hendrik Dombek  Mathias Vosté  Kazuya Yamada  Bjørn Magnussen  Gabriel Odor  Moritz Klein   Anders Johnson Wataru Morishige  David La Rue  Daniele di Stefano  Min-Seok Kim  Koo Kyung-Min  Francesco Betti   Daniel Milagros
