Impressive debut win for 19 year old Matthew Brennan of Visma in the Grand Prix de Denain, a pretty tough cobbled race along part of the Paris-Roubaix course.

And he does it again, an incredible win in Stage 1 of the Tour of Catalonia! :yikes:

And he did it again. I remember a young British sprinter bursting onto the scene about twenty one years ago.  What ever happened to him?!?!

Apologies Brennan for the comparison but he'll have to get used to it if he keeps going like this.

Thing is, I'm not sure he's just a sprinter, though clearly he's riding as one in Catalonia - he broke the world junior record in the individual pursuit on the track, and he was a national champion in the stayers derny class.

Matthew Brennan closes out his first overall Tour win in the Tour of Norway, featuring two stage wins & one second place on a tough, tough course.  :yikes:

And if the weekend wasn't already good enough, Lauren Dickson takes third overall in Women's Tour of Norway.

And he crowns it off with 3rd in the overall & 2nd in the Young Rider so a great week in what is always a really tough Tour.

British Championships from.Wales this year.  Sadly, for the first time in many years absolutely no TV coverage at all.  Think most of the men pros are not bithering.  Shame, because in the Ladies especially we have lots of great riders.
