Must be good points for the lads, now with that Hors cat. Probably relatively safe now with 2, and Kye increasingly looks a real threat come Paris

Unfortunately the push for two on the women's side looks goosed at this point, but if Schriever is fit and on form, should be good to o for at least the podium

Prospects probably don't look great although I think the gap is still closeable but we aren't taking advantage of the European Cup to close the gap ahead of the last tranche of competitions. It might come down to the results at the World Champs and last year :GBR netted about 300+ points more than :COL.

Things would be a lot easier if Shriever had competed in the European Cup events but I guess getting Hutt to the Olympics would be regarded as a bonus. Hopefully by the time the qualifying window opens for LA, we'll still have Shriever, Hutt will have moved to the elite and we'll have Sienna Harvey and Betsy Bax in the under-23s giving us the potential for a full strength squad.

Don't we have 2 spots in the women's anyway - 1 for Bethany for winning the WCs last year and another for being in the 6-10 nation range?

No - the World ranking quotas taking precedence so the World champs quota will be reallocated to the highest placed NOC which has not qualified anyone through the rankings.

Le boo. Not that it likely matters from a reasonable shot of a medal I suppose. But there's always the "everyone else crashes" chance in BMX racing. :p

Yeah - it's not like we would be leaving at home a medal chance on the women's side but it would be good experience for Emily Hutt. It would be a disaster on the men's side if we can't take two though given we have 4 world class riders in the elite ranks.

Pfeiffer Georgi - the girl with the backwards name - gets a very prestigious third in the Paris-Roubaix.  Hopefully it will lead to a promotion, at the moment she is a bit stuck in a super-domestique position.

She looked really good throughout as well, solo'd from the second group to get across to the lead group, just got eaten up on the sprint

No :GBR on the start lists for round 5 of UEX BMX Racing European Cup :(.

Sienna Harvey is competing in the women's juniors, but this would have been perfect opportunity for her to take the step up to the under-23 and score some ranking points for the team.

Both were bombing any country they picked, both were ruining systems they wanted to.  I prefer reds more because they are at least honest about it. Also, i dont like what this ultraliberalism brought to our whole Earth. Whoever opposes this level of insanity will have my vote.

Sabalenka clinched Year-End #1 after winning the first two matches and Świątek not winning all three RR matches before already.

    • thats true. If anyone observes the US election map then he can see that Harris dominated in NorthEast states and the Eastern Coast, exactly where the big economic centres are based (New York, New Jersey, Washington, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco etc).   Also what i observe regarding politics in western europe is that Socialdemocratic/centre-left parties have become extremely pro-market and even neo-liberal and some traditional right parties have become euroscepticist and protectionist, exactly the opposite as it was in 70s-80s

    • Yeah, Trump is very pro-Olympics. I imagine he's pretty excited that he will get to open the games   Visas for some nations have always been tough and I do imagine some qualified individuals will fail to enter the United States (regardless who is President), but the IOC will likely sweep it under the rug.
