After years (decade) of never ending drought based on understandable generational change finally our hockey seems to be dawning on brighter times

This year at the U20 WCh we already saw some interesting prospects naming 17 years old Bečar and mainly 3 NHL 2022 draft prospects 16 years old kids Mešár, Slafkovský and Nemec the last two whom are even expected 1st rounders ! especially our top scorer of the tournament (0+5) the blue liner Šimon Nemec.

But we all know that one year behind them there 2-3 other kids 2023 NHL draft prospects and among them the young Ondrej Molnár but also maybe one of the biggest talents and prospects of our hockey history, the 15 years old Dalibor Dvorský.

and the guy wrote today history playing in his 15 years 6 months and 24 days his debut in :SVK extraliga for Banská Bystrica against Nové Zámky.

    • There will be specialized double sculls...just not for an NOC if it is entering singles specialists.   Either enter 2 singles specialists, or 1 XD specialist pair.   But they can in theory compete in both events, I guess, if they qualify...our top M, I think, does both.   But there are 17M, 17W, and 30 Pairs allotted in the quota, so I don't think the intent is that every singles entry will be in doubles.   (Perhaps this gets to fall in line with Weightlifting, where due to max entry quota, an NOC can't enter in every event, even if they have the best athletes...here, unless you have a pair who qualifies in both.)
