Signing time started for the :ESP Spanish Federation.

Today, our parliament confirmed express nationality to :CUB Yulemnis Aguilar, currently #1 in the women's javelin toplist in 2024. She doesnt represent Cuba since like 5 years ago so there would be no problem, she will be in Paris.

Also, :ETH Likina Amebaw is waiting for the nationality. She has the Olympic Standar in women's 10.000metres and wants to go to Paris. Although her has a different route. She's married to an Spaniard apparently, so no need for the Parliament to get involved. But adminstrations are slow so if "organic" nationality doesn't arrive at time I count with the Goverment giving her an special excempt for the nationality as they did for Yulemnis.

And at last :BDI Rodrigue Kwizera is reportedly starting negotiations paperwork to ask for the nationality, He refused to go with his home country to the latest World Cross Country Championships. He was at Budapest in 2023 so at least until 2026 couldn't compete for the country. So there's no hurry with him.

Would there be any more before Paris or would they stop at 5 between the last 2 years? Who knows....

Twins Eugene and Jamie Omalla have completed their switch from :UGA Uganda to :NED The Netherlands and can compete in Paris if they're selected as part of the Dutch team. Especially Eugene can be a big addition for the relay, he broke the African indoor record earlier this year over 400m.

No shenanigans here by the way: born in the Netherlands (country of their mom), lived here for 7 years and then moved to Uganda (country of their dad), now they compete for Kansas State in the US.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!
