Eurosport currently showing a documentary about Victor Santos :BRA & his quest to get to Pyeongchang.  You’ll be able to pick it up on the Player, if you have it, and probably repeats scheduled. Series is just called Olympic Games Far From Home.  Probably on the Olympic Channel as well.

Great, according to the qualifying document, NOC's will only be informed of quota places in January 2022 :yikes:

17 January 2022 FIS to inform NOCs and NFs of their allocated quota places and eligibility through publication on the FIS Website and provide the login details to access the FIS online system for confirmation of quota places.

I do hope they'll take a bit shorter with the nations cup ranking places...

FIS had an outdated Nations Cup ranking on their website since early March, which they said they'd update when all other disciplines finished their winter seasons (sort of weird, because...why? Why wait for snowboard slopestyle or something to finish before updating a cross-country ranking?)

Now the whole thing has been removed today

Come on, the season finished more than two weeks ago!

Some drama at the Russian National Champs in Tyumen. 20yo Alexandra Shimolina who finished 29th in the 30k race did so wearing a Norwegian suit. Elena Vaelbe wants her DQ while Shimolina said she bought the suit in Bjoern Daehlie's online store since Daehlie is her idol :coffee:

This lady really always gets in the 'news' for all kinds of bullshit she thinks of

Must be the pink cap! :p   If she was from Scandinavian countries people would be impressed how a woman can be the head of the skiing federation for over a decade - and without having to rely on politically correct parity rules whatsoever

It's not like we didn't know it yet, but it is most excellent to finally have confirmation that Brazil does indeed get two women's quotas :woohoo:

Interestingly, our Totallympian is the only one of the women with a realistic shot to go to Beijing who as of right now is eligible to start in the sprint.
