Both our matches

They were watched by the largest number of viewers among the program offerings of all Slovak television stations.

The opening match against Czechia on Boxing Day Tuesday 26.12. became the number one on the Slovak TV market that day. It was the same on Wednesday, when the Slovaks met the Swiss team. The Game was watched by up to 367,000 TV households (The population of the country is 5 and half million inhabitants).

Both games were played at noon (In fact all our group matches are schedulled at 12:00 which is a bit of shame, no other team have such bad time schedulling).

Embarassing and disappointing last period... credit to :NOR to play all to the end though

In other hand a win is a win. So ok,

Fun Fact: the Slovaks have started off with three straight wins for the first time in World Junior history.

Servac Petrovsky and Dalibor Dvorsky both today with two goals and two assists apiece. :yes

Once again big shame for that last period, and that absolutely unacceptable and inexcusable approach to the game. And the consequent punishment = letting down Gajan´s numbers that way, this really hurts...

Another fun fact: The tournament's youngest player Luka Radivojevič (Son of former NT player Branko Radivojevič) became today the second youngest SVK scorer at World Juniors

Also At 16 years, 11 months and 26 days, Luka Radivojevič is the second youngest player to score for Slovakia at the World Juniors, trailing only Marián Gáborík (16Y/10M/12D).

He´s also the fourth defenseman ever to score at the WJC in his U17 season.

This is just crazy and never imaginable stuff.

Seriously, things I have never seen during my more than 20 years of following the World Juniors career

A couple of other Unreal Stats. I mean are we living in some Matrix or what is going on ?

I know this will not last long, but hey, let have some fun while it lasts :p
