Men's Volleyball FIVB Nations League 2024

Recommended Posts

:SRB beat :IRI 3:1

Roughly +5 points on WRL list for us. Not too much, but we need to make a bigger gap between us and Cuba.

:SLO beat :NED in an intense 3:2 game

It's stupid to have one country host 2 weeks, when there are so many participating nations. This week when Turkey isn't playing it has been abysmal. Last week with the women it was better and they should have left only that and have someone else host the men this week.

To all of the Serbian users on here, you’re welcome. ;)

Thank you,

But it means nothing if we can not rack up some wins to close the gap.

And we are not playing that well at all.

I would be very surprised if we manage to qualify.

Hopefully, week 2 will be a better.

When was the last time the Serbian men's team played at the Olympics? 2012 or 2016?

2012.

We placed 9th, and only beat Tunisia. :TUN

It's strange that at the beginning of the 21st century Serbia was very strong in men's volleyball and non-existent in women's volleyball and now your women are much better. It is certainly important that the women Serbian team have great individuals: Brakocevic and now Bosković. In women's volleyball, one person can even win World Championship gold but men's teams need more good volleyball players. Milijković, even in his best form, would not have won anything if he did not have other good players next to him, like Grbic, Grbic, Vujevic etc.
