I take artistic swimming as seriously as boxing, honestly. The same countries get the same scores every competition. Maybe something has changed recently, but I stopped following it long ago because what was the point? I'm not disputing its athleticism, same as boxing, but the judging was too predictable to care.

Yeah it’s very true boxing, artistic swimming and wrestling has gotten to that point

That's actually a lot less true now that they've changed the scoring system.

  And Malinin bounced back. He earned a WR 238.24 in the FP...and of note that in this Grand Prix Finals event, the 6th place competitor earned 242.19 combined (not even 4 points higher). Dang.
