Nobody in the US watches it is the problem the IOC has. That and it's kinda dead as a grassroots sport - I ski and I've only seen one Alpine board in my entire life. It was displayed in a store as a curiosity and it was *old*. Much easier to participate in snowboardcross at a recrational level. I don't think it should be removed, but Alpine snowboarding has a perception problem as a dead sport, at least outside of Europe. -
