If the results stand as they are in the men's sprint, Budjoso  would be the first athlete from his nation to a win a medal in orienteering at The World Games.

 

That would increase the tally of nation's winning their first orienteering medals at The World Games 2025 to four

Usually, that would mean he missed a control (checkpoint), but I didn't hear the commentators say anything about the situation on the stream.

0:16 behind was  Krivda in silver, and 0:23 behind was  Bujdoso in bronze! 

 

 Rancan, the winner of the middle distance finished 4th.

Almost escaped my attention, but Salgado Martinez  (freediving) became the first athlete from his nation to win a medal at The World Games (in any sport, so far as I can tell).
