Halfway through the race, :USA Grimes and :NED van Rouwendaal the clear leaders. :ITA Tadeucci now in 3rd with :ESP Valdes behind. 

 

:MON Pou also in position to get a quota.

I think they're messing it up a bit...   Paltrinieri is not taking any gamble...he's already sure to participate to the Olympic race, as he already swam 14.40 in the 1500m last December

:MON Pou now in the lead! Followed by :NED van Rouwendaal and :FRA Cassignol. :USA Grimes in 4th.

 

Commentators have mentioned she's from Mongolia about 10 times now.
