The second suspect is dead now. He died after being captured by the police.

Gotta love the Canadian parole system, 59 prior convictions and he got released on parole since he was supposed to be no threat to society? I wonder if the entire parole board gets fired ASAP or will they cover up their asses despite this being a global case and a prime example how criminals don't really change :wacko:

Nor do they ever retire in disgrace.  

 

Canada's parole board said on Tuesday that it would review why he had been released early from prison while serving a four-year sentence for several violent crimes.

 

Don't worry, a five year long public enquiry will be held, and strict instructions to improve record-keeping & inter-agency cooperation will be issued!
