You all are talking only about beer in Lidl   but I love from Lidl their chicken nuggets, american burgers and several chocolates from "Fin carre" company :d  They have also the best for me "Lord Nelson" tea, outside Lidl I never saw this anywhere. Those are only products why I go there

I’ve literally never been inside of either. 7-Eleven are just glorified gas stations, and Dollar General is for the poor white people in the South. Our big supermarkets are Albertsons, Vons, SaveMarket, Trader Joe’s (a Californian favorite, it’s the hipster grocery store), Whooe Foods, Stater Bro’s, and Smart and Final. Our big warehouse chains are Sam’s Club, Costco, Walmart, and Target. We have niche stores like CVS Pharmacy, Micheals, etc.

If you can think of a need, there’s a national chain store for it. We even a warehouse chain dedicated to alcohol called BevMo :d

Yeah, I realize some food chains are only operating in some states and are completely unknown in others. Lidl is just about scattered all over Europe though.

We shop at whatever stores are progressive. Like everything in the US, there are liberal stores, and conservative stores.

Lidl sounds more like our big grocery stores, Kaufman sounds kinda like Costco.

Just realized that I’ve been a member of Totallympics for over two years now! Easily one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life :d

Seems like eternity, doesn't it? ;)

Yes/no. The time itself feels like quite a while, but time on the forum has flown by.

Americans are weak willed, uneducated, strongly opinionated, and have a tendency to go against science. This literally doesn’t shock me one bit. We honestly have more in common with Brazil or Indonesia than the UK or Germany at this point.
