Well, this doesn´t really answered my question, the only thing I see is that you looks to not be very satisfied with your school system. :d

well, the truth is that each country certainly has its pros and cons, our system also has many shortcomings. I have to admit that I never liked our schools system I always found it too strict. although in the other hand I also must admit that the main reason was grammar. it was a torture for me. it may not seem like that, but our grammar really is one of the most difficult in the world.

When I open a random web page in Slovak it's all just a mystery to me, so I believe it.

Schools and universities start in Iran, exactly in the first day of Fall, (somewhere around 20 September) I think First grade students have to go one day earlier.

I remember I had to wear uniform for at least a year. (or maybe 2 ? ) but I think it depends on the school. no fixed rule about it. the last time I had to pick up my nephew from the school he was wearing uniform and he was 13. so  I guess I was lucky with my schools.

I remember when I asked my mom why I have to wear this, her answer was something like "they want kids from poor families don't feel sad and jealous about other kids wearing fancy clothes everyday" I don't know if she made up that or that was the school's official explanation :d

and no, no flower for the teachers, only gift and present for the "teacher's day" that's somewhere in April or May. (we use a totally different calendar, I always have to convert dates, not that easy :d)

@Vojthas likes to drop a fully Polish email every once in a while in the company email. You haven’t lived until you wake up to unbridled Polish at dawn.

yeah, just imagine this nightmare of every young boy and girl in this country

+ The Slovak language distinguishes six cases and we express more gramatical meanings in one word by adding special element. and to make the things even less easier In Slovak language we conjugate verbs and decline nouns.

+ Ending of the noun, adjective, pronoun and numeral depends on the case that we use. To know what are the endings of nouns for each case there is following review of noun forms.
Nouns are divided according to the gender and each gender has four noun types. Masculine nouns have the subcategory – animate and inanimate

+ Apart tense there is a category of aspect. Most of the verbs exist in couples – perfective and imperfective. Perfective is used for completed actions – in the past it is completed action, in present form verbs have future meaning. Imperfective is used for present actions, incompleted and continuous actions.

just a small example .

Slovakia - in Slovak is Slovensko

now:

from Slovakia, of Slovakia - zo slovenska, od slovenska

from Slovakian  - zo slovenskej

for Slovakian  - pre slovenských

to Slovakia, in Slovakia - Na slovensku

with Slovakia - so slovenskom

Slovak man - slovak

Slovak woman - slovenka

Slovak (noun masculine) - slovenský

Slovak (noun feminine) - slovenská

Slovak (noun neutral) - slovenské

Slovaks (noun masculine) - slovenskí

etc...

Yeah my schools gave some similar reason for the uniforms. My high school’s official reason as well of 2018 was that it was for our protection. In the event of a school shooting the staff would tell the police that anyone out of uniform is mostly likely the shooter. The 20-30 kids out of uniform everyday were probably happy that didn’t happen :p

We also celebrate “Teachers Appreciation Day” by giving teachers gifts and not being a-holds for a day. Hilariously, we also have “Student Appreciation Day” where teachers generally give students various goodies and maybe even a homework pass.

Ah yes, this is also the "reason" if you ask this in Indonesia.

Even in private owned schools they still use uniforms, with some even use the exact same design as the state-owned ones. Certain Christian schools even have their official vest since students are not allowed to wear jackets/sweaters/hoodies. Some schools even have official shoes (including my school but later abolished), I don't know whether it happens in other countries or not..

Do you have situations where what you say depends not on who you're saying it to or about, but what your gender is? :d

    • It may also be that Ceccerelli saw that the conditions in the Italian youth teams were very poor and that is why she insisted on setting up her own team (the results of young Italian skiers unfortunately confirm this). A private team will always be better than a team with 10-12 skiers with max. 3-4 coaches, a one doctor and a physiotherapist. Colturi is the only skier in her team and she has several coaches, a masseur, a doctor etc. Of course, it costs money, but since the parents are famous and have money + Red Bull got involved. I don't understand why she can't start for Italy again? Red Bull should care more that Colturi starts in Cortina under the Italian flag than the Albanian one + Red Bull, as a brand, always has a bigger sales market in Italy with a population of 60 million than in small Albania. I hope that this can still be reversed by next year. For this we need talks between the federation + Colturi's parents + Red Bull + possibly the Italian Olympic Committee. Colturi may be a skier equal to Brignone or even better in the future. We can't lose her, so we have to do now!
    • I`m very disappointed with this weekend. Only becouse of Ghiotto form I`m happy. Unfortunately, the women's team will not function well if Lollobrigida skips most of the training camps and Fontana starts alternately in short tack and long track. It will end with her not winning any medals here or there, because it`s already clear that it will be very difficult to achieve good results in long track. I hope that she understands this, because in short track she has a real chance of winning medals in the women's relay and the mixed relay but in long track not.
    • Tragic performance of the Italian women's team - last place and probably something bad happened at the start. There are so few starts in the team that it will be a problem to even qualify for the World Championships - 8 best teams. After Lollobrigida's return and Fontana's addition, I was counting on much more, but it seems that there are too few joint trainings. With individual quality, we have no right to lose to the Czechs without Sablikova, or anonymous Korea. And unfortunately this start will count for a lot, because there are only 2 more and our chances of playing at the World Championships are minimal. In my opinion with Fontana going from Short Track to Long Trackand vice versa, we won't be much use in the team. Here great teamwork is needed, not improvisation. As of today, there is very little chance that we will qualify the women's team for the games.
    • men advanced to Division A for the first time since 2018 (when they went 1-8). Don't expect much progress next year
    • Ok, but there we are talking about a person who has parents from different countries. Colturi has nothing to do with Albania.
    • There are few people here from Austria, Switzerland, Norway and Finland.
    • The worst editions in XXI century for us were Vancouver: 5 medals (only 1 gold for Razzoli's on the penultimate day) and Sochi: 8 medals (but no gold). Turin was already a prelude to this bad period, although the number of gold medals was ok. Overall we won fewer medals at home than in 2002 and this was probably the only case in the 21st century when the host country won fewer medals at home than 4 years earlier, either in summer or winter. In general the years 2008-2016 were very bad in our sport, both in summer and winter. Only 2018 in Korea was a slight rebuild + 2 fantastic summer editions in Tokyo and Paris. in Beijing 2022 we won a lot of medals - 17 but only 2 gold (If it weren't for Gogga's injury, I think it would have been 4 gold).
    • Totallympics had  users at one point, but I haven't seen any hanging around in a while.
    • In terms of total medals, yes. In terms of golds, I’d be fine with anywhere from 6-8.   @intoronto you don’t think we’ll do better or at least the same? Bit surprising.
    • Tadeucci was very good and took bronze
