I really hope someone there stops that crap and just says "no, we will leave his body there and leave those people alone". Come on, seriously...don't even think about going there and risking the lives of every single person on that island (plus every single person going there)...

I had the most memorable and important day of my life last friday, where me and my now wife could celebrate our wedding. We had a small ceremony and then we had an enjoying weekend together.

I lost my mother last week Tuesday. It is literally the most devastating thing to happen to me and tbh I am still in shock/sad.

Nope. According to the reports I have seen, there is no proposal to look for his body. It is presumed that he is dead and buried. The fishermen and others who helped him have been arrested as well.

That's nice :). I wish I could donate blood, but unfortunately I can't due to legislation. Hopefully it will change in 2019.

The way this commentator pronounces stuff, especially the t at the end of words, is honestly one of the most painfully annoying things I've ever heard.

      Let's not act as if these things never happen before. Serbia's cross-country skiing drama a week before the Olympic qualifying for Beijing ended: FIS | Cross-Country Results - Zlatibor (SRB) 2021/2022   Drndic with a DNF, despite being - on paper at least - the best athlete. She didn't just 'not finish', she stepped out barely 50 meters before the finish, because if finishing, the points for her competitor would have been better due to the way points are calculated. Ended up with lots and lots of yelling and screaming and fighting and cursing, DNS the next day and in the end Serbia sent none of them.   This is not a shit move by Canada, this is a fault of the system at most.

      Yes agreed, resetting it would help make it more dramatic as no one would be running away with it. We could also set it that there is a small reward for ranking higher after each round… maybe they start the next round with a “head start” so they bring a few points into the next round? But starting from scratch each round might be cleaner

      I like the concept a lot. My only worry would be that the nations doing the best individually would also end up at the top here as teams are only made up of pairs. Whereas in a bigger team it gives the nations not doing so well individually to have another chance if they are lucky enough to be placed in a good team. Any way we can balance it?

      Nice for them, but also kind of too bad they pick the exact same two as last time. Would have been nice to see Regina Martinez for example (although I'm not sure that would have been logistically possible, depending on how they're going to do the flag bearer thing in the first place).
