I would very much beg to differ on that point, and I could a build case saying otherwise, but there’s not really a point since we’re not going to see eye to eye.

Whatever. Kaepernick is done in the NFL and everyone knows it. He got himself a nice pay-off from Nike and the case is closed :bye:

So Brees came with the entirely expected and way too obviously scripted apologies. Result seems to be clear:

- People who were offended say these apologies are useless --> they're mad

- People who agreed with him are disappointed he didn't at least stand by his point --> they're mad

Good job

He'd be better off sitting quiet in first place, that's obvious  When there are riots in the streets, nobody gives a fuck about "disrespecting the flag" :coffee:

The whole crying about 'disrespecting a flag' is bullshit anyway :d

Then why Americans lose their mind when Iranians burn their flags? :p

That's not really just Americans (at least plenty of Danes have been pissed when somebody did so).

The funny thing is, in most countries burning the flag is the only "allowed" way to destroy a flag.

The flag represents the nation and the people. If the people are upset with the nation, they have the right to show it. That’s my opinion on flag burning anyways.

Because Murica. Anyway, burning flags is childish. Crying about a burned flag is just as childish. People should grow up a little and not treat their flag as if it's their own child :p

  • 2 weeks later...

COVID is still doing fine and well in USA just in case someone still cares. Many Cowboys & Texans players have tested positive lately, Ezekiel Elliott among them.

Meanwhile Eagles guard Brandon Brooks has torn his Achilles and will probably miss the entire season now.
