Even with Marquez gone, it seems like MotoGP title battle will be a washout if Quartararo dominates the action like that.

 

Jack Miller said he's in the title hunt now only to crash out from the race. Yeah, so much for that title buzz here.

What a race so far. Rookie Brad Binder leading the race on the KTM, ahead of Morbidelli. Meanwhile Zarco got penalized for Espargaro's mistake (wtf indeed), but still managed to hold on his third place ahead of Quartararo, so far.

First for South Africa, Kork Ballington and Jon Ekerold won races in 250cc and 350cc only and Paddy Driver's best 500cc finish was 2nd.

 

However it's not a first win for an African rider as Gary Hocking was a 500cc World Champion (for Rhodesia).

Massive crash in the Moto2 race at Red Bull Ring. It looks like Hafizh Syahrin's season might well be over.
